Fleetwood Mac concert in Dallas, TX June 16th 2004: Teresa
and Andrea's story of their backstage VIP tour and the adventures
of Johanna's 'Gold Dust Woman' tambourine painting...
"Johanna, Our concert was last
night. It was the most amazing experience! I will never forget
a moment of it for my entire life! We arrived for our backstage
tour by limo. The fans waiting out back all got excited because
the tour guide thought that Stevie's limo had arrived early!
It was us..... very funny! Our tour was incredible. We got
to see some of the dressing rooms. We got to go into Stevie's
wardrobe room and see all of her elaborate clothes. We spoke
with her wardrobe manager and met her personal assistant.

While on stage, we got to take pictures by Mick's
drums and all of Lindsey and John's guitars. We even got to touch Stevie's microphone stand decorated
the way she likes it with the black ribbons and beads! We never
actually got to speak to Stevie personally, but our guide took
a keen liking to Andrea and me and took the tambourine to her
to ask her if she would sign it. Guess what? She did! Isn't that
wonderful? We were so honored and excited! In fact, when the guide
brought it back to us, he said that Stevie LOVED it and asked
if she could HAVE it!!! It was hard to do.. but we said no. :-)
She then asked if we would get her one! Really! She wants one
exactly like the one you painted for us! So, what do you think?
Will you make one for her? We spent quite a bit of time with Stevie's
brother Chris and he supplied all the information to get it to
her. Chris invited us into his tour trailer before and after the
show and shared many precious family and band related stories.
What a dream night it was..... Teresa"
